I’m amused at your “nice opening to the summer action season.” when Wolverine last weekend officially started the summer action season. HAHA. My thoughts on Wolverine are: Hugh Jackman has no body fat. The end.

I’d rent Wolverine if I were you, if you even want to see it. Not even sure I’d recommend anyone see it. So maybe Star Trek really IS the opening film…..;-)

Anyway, agreed. Agreed. Agreed!! Loved it. I need to see it again. Soon.

I understood the purpose of Huricane Katrina. It formed the timeline. We knew the present at the outset and Daisy established Benjamin’s birth year in first few minutes. I liked that. But agree that the hospital drama set forth by the impending storm was not necessary.
I did not make the connection to Forest Gump myself, but I agree completely. The parallels seem so obvious now….I don’t know how I missed that.
I think my review would be more in line with Beaudelaire. It was too long, but I did enjoy the storytelling overall. B

Well said. I had the same reaction when I saw the Revolutionary Road trailer. I’m getting very tired of Hollywood’s beat-down on traditional family values.

We went and saw Bolt yesterday. I liked it. Of course, the hamster makes the movie. We will probably see Madagascar 2 because, well, I so love penguins.
